2019 European Parliament Election

The first and last time I was right in front of the European Parliament in Brussels was in January 2018 to take a look at the building and the museum next to it. The building in which the parliament constitutes itself look very huge and overwhelming. Those descriptions exactly describe the current perspective looking at the European Union by many EU citizens. And that is for a reason.
The European Union is going through a tough time since the financial crises in 2008 and still aims to recover itself from all the misinterpretation and crises that it has been facing. The refugee crises for example is to this date a problem waiting to be solved and keeps being pushed away.
It’s safe to say that it’s not the fault of one political ideology but the whole political community by not being able to create a habitable country for the refuge seeking human beings in their homelands. Misinformation from minor groups are just one of the reasons the continent still suffers in such a miserable shape or form. The question of the survivability and continuation of the current system seems very open and the future of the European community of values also seems undeclared. It’s one of the uncertain times facing Europeans.

Election time! Good time?

It’s for sure not a good time to ask for votes being a member of the European political system but it most surly must be since from May 23 to May 26 elections for the European Parliament will be held all across the European continent.  The campaigning for the votes of is starting slowly but surely beginning in April.
Manfred Weber is aiming to get elected as President of the European Commission with the support of the European People’s Party (EEP) parliamentary fraction with fourteen party behind it.
Mentioning the EEP fraction may also remind you, the reader, of the conflict between the EVP parties and the Hungarian president because of the usage of anti-EU advertainments for the Election of the European Parliament. The party incited against the current EU Commission President Jean Claude Junckereven though he is an elect of the fraction that he is in.

May problems appear looking at the state of the union

As you can see, problems within the European Union add up quickly and seem to influence the perception of the citizens looking at the future of the European Union. It’s a big topic regarding the upcoming election for the parliament because anti-EU Parliamentarians could get a very heavy influence over the administration of the European Union.
The future of the European Union is going to be influenced of the outcome from the upcoming election in May.
That is also why it’s mandatory as a citizen of the European Union to inform yourself about the parties and fraction working in the European Parliament.
If you want to know what you can do to inform other about the upcoming election, then I recommend you to look at the website https://www.thistimeimvoting.eu.
I'm very exited to see the upcoming campaigns of all political figures and look forward to the election date. Hope that you are too!

How To Keep Your Phone For A Longer Time - Guide

Smartphones have become more than just basic communication devices that replace home line phones. They are our point-and-shoot cameras, navigation units, media consumption devices and add many more unique features to help us out in real world use-cases. With every new year comes a new generation of SoCs, camera sensors, charging and display technologies. This is also why it is tempting to buy the newest flagship phone on the market.  Adding the hype around these devices, people most are likely willing to upgrade sooner to the next gen devices then their use-cases require.  This creates many problems: First, changing phones every one or two years creates a large amount of waste and that way harms the environment. Also, new devices need resources that are most likely only available in mines with inferior labor rights compared to modern industrial countries. Well known cases of child labor and slavery shouldn't become a norm to satisfy the public.  But w...

How To Fix Your Macbook Keyboard (Software Solution Included)

A while back I wrote about problems that could occur with modern notebooks. I mentioned the keyboard problem of many MacBooks released after 2016.  A quick recap of the issue: These laptops have a refined keyboard mechanism with new "butterfly" switches. This was allegedly a necessity since Apple wanted to make the newest iterations of their notebooks quite thinner and decided to develop a new keyboard mechanism with less travel and hight being used in the case.  The keyboards can have some problems such as double or even more keystrokes when pressing on one key. My keyboard was especially affected by this with the "E" and space key. Some users also report being unable to press the button because of it being hard.  Apple acknowledges these problems and mentions that this problem only affects a small user base. From experience, I can say that it depends on the usage of your keyboard. If you are a student who types a lot, then the risk of getting prob...
